2011 Doce Nove

Doce Nove translates from Portuguese to “Sweet Nine” and is a 100% Petite Sirah, Port-style wine from Bootjack Ranch. In 2011 we made twenty barrels of this sweet dessert wine. Over the years, we bottled and released small amounts of the original barrels at the two-year, seven-year and 10-year marks. This release was aged seven years, and the longer barrel aging resulted in a gorgeous wine that layers rich caramel and butterscotch flavors over dried fruit.
