The 2014 vintage was our first and only Fog Catcher based on Cabernet Franc. The precise, somewhat angular tannins and structure of the grape made it a beautiful candidate for cellaring. Time has softened those angles and we’re excited to re-release it.
On the flavor side, think ripe blackberries and dried oregano. While it’s drinking well now, it would continue to soften and develop over the next few years in your own cellar. We recommend a 2+ hour decant if you plan to enjoy it now.
