2014 Reserve Cabernet Franc
Library Release
Each year, our Winemakers select special library wines to release for the holidays. These wines have been perfectly aged in our temperature-regulated cellar, so that we can re-release them to you in their prime drinking windows. These bottles are proof that patience is often rewarded, and each bottle would be a worthy choice to share with family and friends this season.
We grow a single block of Cabernet Franc at Heart Hill Vineyard, visible on the right-hand side as you drive into the tasting room. The 2014 vintage was a fantastic growing season and these four acres developed to be some of the best Cabernet Franc we’ve ever seen from this property. In fact, it became the dominant varietal in our 2014 Fog Catcher and the remaining wine was used for this Reserve bottling.
