Winemaker notes: The 2015 Fog Catcher is the perfect example of how aging under perfect conditions can be rewarded. It is rich and full-bodied, with refined, elegant tannins.
While designated as “Peak Maturity” on our aging chart, it’s just barely tipped into this category from “Early Maturity”. It’s beginning to show its refined layers, with plush tannins, ample texture and a juicy finish. On the flavor side, think pomegranate juice and dark cherry with leather and savory spice nuances.
