While still marked as “Early Maturity” on our Winemaker’s Aging Chart, we expect the 2016 vintage to develop into one of our greatest vintages to date. 2016 was a near-perfect growing season and this wine is reflective of that pedigree.
It’s youthful, with opulent dark fruit flavors and elegant tannins. It would benefit from a 4+ hour decant before serving. This wine would also make a fantastic candidate for further aging in your own cellar.
