2016 Reserve Malbec

We farm a single block of Malbec on a southern-facing hillside at Heart Hill Vineyard where warm afternoons & cooling breezes allow it to develop slowly & beautifully. In select years the qualities are so fantastic that we bottle a small amount under a Reserve label. The sheer color and saturation of this wine always amazes our winemaking team, and the 2016 vintage was no exception. In this year’s library tasting, our winemakers designated this wine as Peak Maturity. It is tasting beautifully right now but will continue to evolve over the next few years. Decanting recommended.
