The exceptional quality of Block 18 Syrah at Heart Hill Vineyard inspired this Reserve wine. Our winemaking team was immediately drawn to the block’s licorice and fennel flavors. 20% whole-cluster fermentation added more complexity. We then barrel-aged this wine for 22 months in 55% new French Oak barrels. This wine is lush and dark, with structured tannins and an inherent richness.
