Jespersen Ranch Syrah has a remarkable, site-specific personality. This vintage shows off a combination of candied raspberry, pepper and floral notes and a beautifully deep color. We hand-harvested the grapes and fermented them in stainless steel tanks, leaving 10% of the fruit whole-cluster. Fermentation lasted 20 days, and we then transferred the wine to French Oak barrels for 21 months of aging. If drinking this wine within the first few years of its release, we recommend decanting for two hours prior to enjoying.
