2019 Reserve Square Root

Square Root is our Reserve “GSM” from Heart Hill Vineyard and is crafted to be a bold, age-worthy blend that features Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. The headliner of this blend is the Syrah, due to its rich color and powerful undertones of blue and black fruits, coffee, mocha, and full mouth tannins.  Dark, spicy and earthy Mourvedre form the secondary component of this blend. A smaller amount of Grenache brings bright acidity and wide, drying tannins. Together, these three varieties weave together layers of flavor that make this wine irresistible. Aged 20 months in 58% new French Oak barrels.
