Winemaker Patrick has a few favorite Syrah blocks at Heart Hill—steep, rocky hillsides that yield rich, textured, and expressive wines. This vintage draws from those top sites, each highlighting the vineyard’s natural diversity. The warm slopes give richness and intensity, the cooler areas add peppery vibrance and softer tannins, and the upper blocks bring balance and refined structure. After fermenting in stainless steel, the wine aged 22 months in French oak. It will continue to evolve beautifully over the next decade; if enjoying now, we recommend decanting for at least four hours.
