2020 Reserve Chardonnay

The 2020 Reserve Chardonnay represents the best that comes from Jespersen Ranch. We hand-harvested the grapes, whole-cluster pressed and placed the juice in French Oak barrels for fermentation. 40% of the barrels went through fermentation natively. We stirred the lees to develop texture and richness, and the barrels went through 100% malolactic fermentation. We aged the wine for a total of 14 months in French Oak before it was bottled 100% unfiltered. The resulting wine has a beautifully rich and creamy mouthfeel with lemon, apple pie and vanilla qualities.
