We grow Malbec at Heart Hill Vineyard in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles and we are elated to share this exceptional vintage with you. Heart Hill is a premier site for growing Bordeaux grapes, and the 2021 vintage was nothing short of spectacular. This is a rich, layered and juicy Malbec with well-integrated tannins and beautiful acidity.
We hand-harvested our Malbec from late September to early October and fermented the darkly hued juice in stainless steel tanks. We aged the wine for 22 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels, adding warm vanilla and caramel flavors. This is a vibrant wine perfect for cooler Autumn and Winter evenings!
