We craft a Reserve Syrah only in exceptional vintages, and 2021 was one to remember. A dry, cool season offered ideal conditions for growing Syrah of depth and elegance. The fruit was harvested at peak ripeness, destemmed, and fermented in small stainless-steel vessels before resting 19 months in French oak barrels—building structure while preserving balance. The result is a striking expression of cool-climate Syrah, with brooding aromatics of dark fruit, sage, black peppercorn, and eucalyptus. On the palate, it is dense and layered, revealing notes of blackberry pie and a long, textured finish.
