2022 Syrah

Syrah from Heart Hill Vineyard delivers wines of remarkable intensity and quality, and this bottling offers a compelling snapshot of the site through fruit sourced from five distinct vineyard blocks. Each block was vinified separately, allowing us to respond to subtle differences in clone and location while building layered complexity in the final blend. Fermentation strategies varied by lot, with a portion of the blend incorporating stem inclusion to add aromatic lift, structure, and savory nuance. The resulting wine unfolds with notes of ripe plum, fruit leather, fennel, and molasses—a wine that is deeply expressive of place.
