There are two defining qualities that we love in our Heart Hill Vineyard Zinfandel: vibrant fruit, and spice. In 2022, the two lots were treated with specialized fermentation and aging processes—one gently fermented to highlight silky, fresh fruit with subtle notes of coffee and chocolate, the other fermentation was warmer and faster to amplify spice, layered with baking notes from Hungarian oak. Blended after ten months of separate aging, this wine opens with a spiced, aromatic bouquet and a palate of black cherry and dried cranberry, seamlessly woven with hints of cardamom, oregano, and sage.
