A special, sweet release just in time for the holidays! This ‘Late Harvest’ wine was crafted from Grenache Blanc grapes that remained on the vine past their normal harvest date, allowing them to concentrate their natural sugars and flavors.
The result is a petite, 500ml bottle filled with an expressive, sweet wine full of baked apple, mandarin, dried lemon and butterscotch flavors. The fruit flavors are balanced by bright acidity that keeps each sip fresh and vibrant. A perfect complement to a cheese plate!
To make this wine we harvested the grapes in October when they were very ripe and whole-cluster pressed them. We natively fermented the golden juice in large, 500-liter French Oak puncheon barrels. We halted fermentation when the wine was at the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity and transferred it to French oak barrels to age for 10 months. Drink now–2030.
